To find your size, place the measuring tape around your head at a finger's width above your ear and above your eyebrows, completely circling your head.
Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. You need to measure your head where the hat will sit. Keep this in mind when you are going around the back of the head. I recommend measuring your head 3 times to make sure you get an accurate size.
If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size for the best comfort. It's always better to have your hat a little bigger than too small.
Styles will vary slightly depending on the shape of the hat. Our molds are handcarves, so while we try to keep sizing consistent it can vary slightly across styles. Also different materials will conform differently and feel different to wear even though they will be the same size. Please look at our Sizing Guide to help with sizing.
Your hat should be comfortable on your head. You should be able to fit your finger at the centre of your hat between your forehead and your hat. Your hat should not be so tight that your head is feeling pressure but also not so loose that when you shake your head it rattles side to side.
If your hat is too big you will be able to fit your index finger at the centre front and centre back of the hat. Please email us at email@example.com and we will organise a return and generate a code to order a correct size.
If you can only fit one finger at the front we recommend a hat filler to make it a nice fit. These are available with us. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you believe that you need a new size after testing the method above, please email email@example.com to get an authorization for a return. We will generate a code for you to place a new order in the correct size.
If you are on the cusp of the two different sizes, we recommend you size up and purchase a foam hat spacer to fill in extra room. You can find our recommendation here.
STUDIO & BRAND
Our hats are made in our studio in Dublin, Ireland.
We use only natural materials and fibres and believe with their qualities of durability, breathability and softness they are the ultimate luxury. We understand the importance of our environment and sustainability but feel a business is also an opportunity to meaningfully contribute to communities and environment.
We do not have a shop but you are more than welcome to visit our studio in Harolds Cross, Dublin and try styles on and we will talk through your perfect hat. You can shop our online store 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world. We also have a small amount of stockists that carry selected styles in their boutiques. Please look at our Stockist tab on our homepage.

LOVE & CARE
Felt hats Most fur felt hats can be confidently worn in light / moderate showers without distorting the shape or material. It is not recommended to wear in heavy rain. In heavy rain it will distort and shrink over time.
If your hat gets wet let your hat dry naturally, away from any heat source, while resting on its crown.
To remove dust and surface marks brush with a soft bristled brush to buff out the surface mark and brush anti-clockwise.
Do not leave your hat in extreme heat conditions, such as the dashboard of a car , near the radiator as this will cause shrinkage and colour distortion.
If your straw hat gets wet, remove excess moisture with a clean cloth. Let the hat dry naturally without applying any heated drying tools. If you have a straight brim, dry your brim flat.
To reshape the hat or stiffen it back into shape lightly steam the hat but do not soak through. To reshape the brim steam and leave on a flat surface to dry in that position. To shape the crown, steam and work the material with your hands to gently mould it back into its original shape and leave to dry.
The felt that the hat is made from has been treated with a stiffening agent and once this agent is reactivated by the steaming process, the hat will often regain its original state and shape. If you have and queries and would like more advice please contact us a firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Ready To Ship orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.
Our Made To Measure orders take longer as each hat is made for every individual order. Please allow 2 - 4 weeks from production to delivery for domestic and international orders. We will email you to let you know it has been shipped.
Your order is shipped from our studio in Harolds Cross, Dublin, Ireland.
Domestic orders will ship via An Post tracked and take up to 2-5 business days to receive your order after you receive your tracking number.
For international orders we offer An Post, DHL services. Please allow 5-12 business days to receive your order after you receive your tracking.
You will receive an email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
We ship all over the world.
The rate is determined based on the quantity of items, the weight of the order, and destination address.
Some countries are billed with a flat rate of €30. Please note, duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Duties and taxes are listed and paid at checkout based on the item(s) ordered and the destination country.
Customs, Duties and Taxes is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
To check the shipping costs for your order, we encourage you to add your order to your cart and proceed to the cart page to display the shipping costs.

We want you to be completely satisfied with the purchase of your hat. If for any reason your order is not as you expected please get in contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With our Ready To Ship stock we can offer you an exchange, refund or credit.
With our Made to Measure pieces we can only offer store credit as your piece was made specifically for you.
We will refund you as soon as the piece arrives to the studio. Please allow up to 14 working days for your refund to be processed. Once we receive an email from you we will send you a return merchandise authorisation RMA number. No return / exchange will be accepted without an RMA and prior authorisation.
All items must be returned within 14 days from delivery in a saleable condition with tags attached and in original packaging. All hats must not be worn outside or show any sign of use or misuse.
Items that show signs of wear or misuse will not be accepted for return.
Please note if you would like to exchange your hat size via our webstore, the customer will be liable for any additional shipping costs incurred.
We recommend insuring your shipment. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Be sure to package exchanges in their original packaging. Items damaged from improper packaging will not be accepted. Once your package has been received, your store credit will be processed within 10 business days.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If your returned item does not meet the above requirements, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense.
If you receive your order and it has a fault, damage or is incorrect please notify us via email@example.com within three business days of receiving your order.
Please return damaged items with the original box and packaging. A replacement will be sent, if available, upon receipt. Items damaged due to buyers’ negligence will not be accepted. All goods must be unworn in order for exchange or refund.
We require a 50% deposit before we start making your piece. Please note on our bespoke pieces there is no return policy as they have been made specially for you.
